Steven Williams is an industry veteran having worked in the behavioral health space in South Florida for nearly two decades.  He is a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA), a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) and a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS-A) by the State of Florida.

After a successful career in corporate America, he followed his calling to serve those in need by volunteering in shelters and assisting those challenged by homelessness. Many of these individuals were dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder issues. Working as a case manager, Steven developed a wealth of knowledge and relationships with key service providers in Miami-Dade County which helped facilitate the allocation of resources to this vulnerable population. Steven’s passion to work with this segment of our community also afforded him an opportunity to work with the 11th Judicial Circuit Drug Court and the Mental Health Administrators Office in the court system.

Given the breath of Steven’s personal and professional experience, it became apparent that there was an increased need for supportive and structured sober transitional housing for men seeking recovery from addiction. Determined to build on his experiences and commitment to give back, Steven and his team founded Transition Living Centers, (TLC) Recovery Residences as a bridge to long-term recovery.
